Spring Update 04/30/2011
Dear God, I haven't made updates around here in quite some time. Let me dust off the cobwebs, and make known what I've been doing these last few months. For the last 6 weeks I've been working off and on with the LARK PLAY DEVELOPMENT CENTER. Lisa Rothe - Director of Offsite Programs and Partnerships, and a very good friend of mine - got me involved with their PLAYGROUND series which helps playwrights develop their work in a sort of shotgun fashion. I then participated in one of their STUDIO RETREATS, helping develop Lila Rose Kaplan's 100 PLANES. The picture across is from that process. I had a great time, and the staged reading went wonderfully. I could not be prouder of the work we did. The LARK is a great place. I'm continually impressed at what they do. An old colleague and friend of mine Matthew-Lee Erlbach asked me to be a part of a web series he's created. ROGER, THE CHICKEN, tells the story of ultra-hipster Roger and his adventures of living in the big city as a misunderstood artist. It was a total gas and will post it up as soon as it comes out! Last, but not least, I will be heading out this summer to the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival. I'll be reprising Mr. Darcy in PRIDE & PREJUDICE and playing Laertes in HAMLET. Once again, I'll get out of the New York City humidity. WINNING. CommentsLeave a Reply |
